Newsletter 2001 - Trips
This year we were really lucky to have two major trips away.
We had been planning the Canadian trip for three years. The idea came to us when we had our American wedding celebration. For the first time in many years, Brian and his three friends from school days were together in one place. They have all moved away from home, Mark is currently in Allentown PA, Eric and Murray are in Washington DC and Brian is in the UK. We all had a great time together and so the idea of a holiday together seemed to make sense.
I won the Welsh holiday in a Christmas draw in December 2000. It was a wonderful surprise and allowed the opportunity to take the dogs on holiday with us.
