2007 Newsletter
2007 has turned out to be one of those years which make writing an annual newsletter very easy. There has been so much going on. As usual, some of the highlights have their own more detailed section.
- The focus for the early part of the year was our first opening under the National Gardens Scheme. We were very lucky with the weather for our open weekend and had some very rewarding comments from our visitors.
- On the dog front, Oliver has had an amazing year – he has achieved things that I have only dreamed about for all the years I have been showing and to top it all, he became a father.
- I was fortunate enough to be asked to go on a business trip to Japan for ten days in August.
- On a personal note, I had a hip resurfacing operation in November. Recovery is going well, and I look forward to a future where I am able to move with ease again.
- There was a certain sense of déjà vu at the end of the year when it was announced that, for the second time in five years, my company was being acquired. This sort of thing obviously brings a certain degree of concern as to what the future holds, but hopefully having been through it once before should make the process a little easier to deal with.
We hope that 2008 brings you all that you wish for.
