Bitch CC and BOB at Welsh Kennel Club, Aug 2010

The star of the year was Ruby. At Welsh Kennel Club, she won not only Limit Bitch, but the CC and BOB - trust her to win her way into the stud book in style. It was a wonderful day and a great pleasure to be able to represent the breed in the Gundog group as her father had also done with his first CC.

Ruby also won Limit Bitch at Richmond as well as being second in Limit at both SEWSSC and Gundog Breeds of Scotland.

Ruby went to a very few Open Shows this year, but still managed to win Group 2 at Wealdstone and Northolt and Group 4 at Exonian.

Oliver started of the year in great style winning both Veteran Dog (WSS) and the Veteran Stakes at Manchester Championship Show. This was his third Veteran Stakes win, which made us very proud.

He continued his winning ways at Blackpool where he was Best Veteran in Breed and SEWSSC where he won Veteran Dog. He also was placed in Veteran Stakes at Gundog Breeds of Scotland.

Brace Stakes - Gundog Breeds of Scotland

There are only a few Championship shows which shedule a Brace class. We were very pleased when Ruby and Oliver won at Gundog Breeds of Scotland.

Once again, we held our canine family BBQ in September. There was a wonderful turnout and we were very pleased to welcome some people who had been unable to attend last year.

After the walk, when the dogs had lost a little of their energy, we returned to the house for a BBQ. After the meal, we decided to see if we could get a group sit stay. It wasn't easy, but we just about managed it :).

Next year, we will hopefully have even more attendees as Oliver's latest litter was born in Aug 2010.
