Sadly we have to report the passing of Oliver. He was a wonderful friend and gentleman. Thank goodness he lives on in his children and their offspring.

Lulu - Oliver's daughter - won her final green star to become an Irish Show Champion. She made it a great day by also winning BOB and CACIB.

Oliver won his 4th Best In Show at Hampshire Gundog, this time after winning Best Veteran In Show.

Ruby followed up her win in Post Grad at National Gundog with another win in Post Grad. Oliver made it three places in three Veteran Stakes classes by taking a 2nd this time.

Ruby won Post Grad Bitch at Southern Counties Championship Show.

Ruby won Open Bitch and Res CACIB at the European Winners Show in Dublin.
25 May 09 - SEWSSC
Oliver won Veteran Dog and was Best Dog and RBIS at SEWSSC Open Show. Ruby also won Post Grad Bitch and together they won the Brace.

Oliver won Open Dog and was Best Dog at Bath Championship Show.
May 09 - Ireland
Lulu took a short trip to Ireland with owners Sue and Nigel Shenton and won 1 Green Star and 1 Res Green Star at the tender age of 15 month old.

Ruby won the Puppy match held in conjunction with the WSSC AGM. She was also awarded the Benmorby Cup for Open Show Bitch of the Year.

Ruby was Group 1 under breed judge, Debbie Channon (Thandiwe) and group judge, Bev Dummett (Almondsbury).

For the 2nd year running, Oliver was in the 2008 Top 10 WSS.
20 Dec 08 - Hip Score
Ruby's Hip Score has come through at 6:5 for a total of 11, which is a nice improvement on Oliver's 7:7 and her mother's 7:5. The Breed Mean Score is currently 18.

06 Dec 08 - Ruby gains Show Certificate of Merit
Ruby was Group 3 at Exonian, having won Best Of Breed. This gave her the ShCM (subject to KC confirmation) at the tender age of 20 months. To date, Ruby has been placed in 50% of the Gundog groups she has appeared in.
21 Nov 08 - Ruby gains Gold Good Citizen Award
Ruby gained her Gold Good Citizen award. She has been with us for almost a year now and in that time has shown her aptitude for learning, gaining her Bronze, Siler and Gold awards in quick succession.
09 Nov 08 - Oliver displays his Golden Good Citizenship
Oliver was a member of the Kennel Club Gold Good Citizen Display team at Discover Dogs at Earls Court, London. He was one of 10 dogs selected to show visitors to the exhibition what can be achieved by dogs who have attained the highest level of the Good Citizen awards.

Ruby was Group 3 at Romsey DCS having won Best Any Variety Not Seperately Classified Gundog from the Open class.
15 Sep Nov 08 - Miar crosses over
Miar crossed over the Rainbow Bridge at the age of 13. She was a wonderful and loyal friend and was the best birthday present I ever had. Fortunately she lives on in her children and grandchildren, the most wonderful legacy she could have left us with.
23 Aug 08 - Ruby is Best In Show
Ruby was Best in Show at Newton Abbot and South Devon open show from an entry of 694 dogs. This was a very exciting win, and especially so since she is only sixteen months old.
16 Aug 08 - Oliver wins his 4th CC
Oliver was award his fourth Challenge Certificate at Welsh Kennel Club by Denise Courtney.
27 Jul 08 - Ruby is Group 2
Ruby won Gundog Group 2 at Dorset County Show having been declared Best Any Variety Not Seperately Classified Gundog from the Speical Yearling class. This was a very exciting first adult group placing for Ruby.
26 Apr 08 - Oliver becomes a Show Champion
Oliver was award his third Challenge Certificate at WELKS by Babs Harding, and so becomes a Show Champion. We are very pleased about this, particularly because he is home bred.
Feb 08 - Ruby is RBIS & BPIS
At her first show with us, Ruby was Reserve Best in Show and Best Puppy in Show at Winchester & District. What a wonderful start to her showing career.
