Barhi Garden - Opening 2008
Barhi's 2008 open days on 7 and 8 June were a great success. We were fortunate to have two lovely sunny and warm days over the weekend which signalled the start of summer.
The weather during the spring meant that the garden was lush and green, which appears to be very fashionable, if Chelsea this year is a guideline.
We welcomed over a hundred visitors into the garden and were able to forward almost £300 to the NGS for distribution to the various charities.
Once again, our visitors were pleased to visit our lush oasis and many remarked that they were amazed as to how many plants we had fitted into such a small space, which had been utilised so well.
We will be open again under the National Gardens Scheme on 6 and 7 June 2009 or by appointment.
